I am pleased to announce that Koslow Fine Arts is now producing giclée prints using the Epson Stylus Pro 9900, Epson’s newest 44” wide large format printer. This printer significantly upgrades the print quality and color gamut compared to the Epson Pro 9600 and 9880 printers that I have been previously using to produce giclées.

The Stylus Pro 9900 uses Epson UltraChrome® HDR Ink, Epson’s newest ink technology that includes new orange and green inks. By utilizing 10 colors (instead of 7 or 8 colors), Epson UltraChrome HDR Ink produces the widest color gamut ever, and the new Epson AccuPhoto™ HDR screening technology dramatically raises the print quality. Prints made on the Pro 9900 will show a significantly wider range of colors compared to prints made on the Pro 9600 and the Pro 9880—even when printing the same digital file to the same paper or canvas.

I have also upgraded to one of the newest Nikon digital SLR cameras. This camera captures twice the number of pixels as my previous camera, and does a much better job of capturing colors—especially reds, oranges, and golds. It’s exciting to see the improvement in color and quality resulting from the combination of my new camera and printer.

I am happy to report that my health is the best that I can remember in a very long while, and that I 'm back working on a regular schedule. Currently I have a very short work queue, which means that prints will be ready within 2 to 4 weeks after delivery of your artwork. Reprints will be available within 7 working days from when you place your order.
